The Dolphins were assumed to be going all in on tanking for the 2020 NFL Draft, but Miami scored its first win of the season on Sunday and has now dropped to fourth in the projected NFL Draft order.
Below is the current the projected 2020 NFL Draft order, according to Tankathon. The first 20 selections in the round are determined by each team’s record and settled by a series of tiebreakers. Strength of schedule is the first tiebreaker, so we have included each team’s current SOS.
Selections 21 through 32 will be set according to the results of the 2019 playoffs, with the Super Bowl LIV champion receiving the final pick of the round. We have also included each team’s chance to receive the No. 1 overall pick, according to Football Outsiders‘ model.
Biggest movers this week:
Raiders: UP 8 picks to No. 10. The Raiders’ own first-round pick is likely going to occur in the middle of the round, but Oakland also owns the Bears’ first-rounder, and Chicago’s disappointing year could lead to a top-10 pick for the Raiders.
Dolphins: DOWN 12 picks overall. Due to the Dolphins’ first win of the season, and a combination of good results by the Steelers and Texans, the Dolphins have lost a total of 12 positions on the board across their three first-round picks.
