The Best Leagues For Both Teams To Score (BTTS)

As of the 28th of July, 2017, the ten best leagues for both teams to score in order, are as follows :
#1 – Top of the charts, is the Icelandic Urvalsdeild division, where 71 games have been played so far this season, with 48 of them seeing both teams to score. As good as this league is for goals, the prices on various markets, such as BTTS, can often be very bad. When prices are a bad, but you’re confident in the bet, it might be a good idea to change your bet from BTTS, to BTTS and win instead, as this enhances the odds greatly. William Hill offer the “Match Result and Both Teams to Score” market : williamhill.co.uk
#2 – Second in the Both Teams to Score league, is the Hungarian NB I league. However, only two rounds of their new season have been played so far, but 8 games out of 12, have seen goals galore, which is still very impressive, none of the less.
#3 – In third place, is the Chinese Super League, where a humongous 90 games out of 143, have produced both teams to score. To be honest, this should be expected – Millions have been spent over the last 12 months in China, bringing in top attacking talent, such as Carlos Tevez, Hulk, Oscar, Alexandre Pato, Rubén Castro, Nikica Jelavić, to name but a few. Adding to the fact, that the standard of Chinese football isn’t the best.. So what happens when quality attackers come up against poor quality defenders? Yes, you guessed it, GOALS!
#4 – Number 4, sees the OBOS-Ligaen of Norway. Where 128 games have been played so far this season, with 80 of them seeing BTTS. Impressive yes, but again, like Iceland, as mentioned above, the prices are usually very poor for “Both Teams to Score,” as they are for most Scandinavian leagues, with Finnish league being the one exception. Some bookmakers don’t offer many markets on this league. If you want to find a bookmaker which offers a lot of markets on this league, we recommend bet365.com
#5 – 5th in the best leagues for BTTS from around the world, is a surprising one… Croatia! It’s still very early day’s in their new 2017/18 season. People often see leagues as Croatia, bad for betting, but football is clearly changing. A few years ago, most punters would be all over the Premier League, with their BTTS bets. And would avoid leagues from countries such as Croatia, as they’d often be labeled as “boring,” so the last thing you’d want to do is place a “Both to Score” bet on this league. 10 games have been played so far this season, with 6 of them producing BTTS… can you see the Premier League producing BTTS 6 times after the first 10 games have been played? We can’t…
#6 – Sitting in 6th place, of the best leagues for Both Teams to Score, is the Danish Superliga, where 8 out of 14 games have produced Goals Galore. Like Hungary and Croatia above, it’s still very early day’s, as their new season only began two weeks ago.
# 7 – 7th in the BTTS mini league, is the Swedish Superettan, where 66 out of 119 games this season, have seen both teams scoring up both ends.
# 8 – No surprise here, you guessed it, another Scandinavian league! Sweden again, but this time the top tier, the Allsvenskan. It’s not surprising that most of the leagues in the top 10 of the “best leagues for both teams to score” table, are leagues where the quality is poor. Here is a great example of that – Swedish striker Markus Rosenberg, played for West Bromwich Albion for two seasons, 2012/13 and 2013/14, where he didn’t find the net even once. He then moves back to Sweden and signed for Malmo. Since his move, he as scored 39 times, including 4 already this term! Back to the BTTS stats – The Allsvenskan so far this season, has seen 127 games played, with 68 of them producing BTTS.
# 9 – Number 9 in the “Best Leagues for Both Teams to Score” is our friends across the water, the Irish Premier League. Again, another poor league in terms of quality, yet very high up overall in the BTTS table. Out of the 135 games played in Ireland this season, BTTS has occurred 72 times.
#10 – And finally, in tenth place, sees the Primera Division from Uruguay. It’s hardly surprising that a country who has produced strikers such as Daniel Fonseca, Álvaro Recoba, Luis Suárez, Edinson Cavani, Enzo Francescoli, Diego Forlan, Sebastián Abreu and Rubén Sosa, it’s no surprise that the Uruguayan league are in the top 10 of best leagues both teams to score!
So, the stats don’t lie, the best league for betting on the BTTS markets, as of the 28th of July 2017, are all above! But as mentioned, to make more money long term by betting on “Both Teams to Score,” you sometimes have to look deeper than just stats, such as prices. It’s not a great idea to be betting on 1/2’s and 4/11’s from Norway as singles, as you have to stake a lot, to win a lot, which is not wise, if your bet doesn’t come in.
