LINEUP NOTE: Minnesota Wild center Eric Staal (personal) has rejoined the team and could return against the Vegas Golden Knights. Staal, if he plays, would likely skate on the top line with valuable wings Kevin Fiala and Zach Parise and is worth rostering in FanDuel DFS contests. Staal, who has missed the past three games, ranks third on the Wild in points (47) behind Fiala (54) and defenseman Ryan Suter (48).

Nikita Gusev , NJD (vs. CAR): The New Jersey Devils wing scored a goal on three SOG against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday, giving him 11 points (three goals, eight assists) and 25 SOG over his past 10 games. Gusev has seven power-play points in the span, giving him 15 PPP and 44 points (13 goals, 31 assists) in 66 games despite inconsistent usage in his first NHL season. Gusev had an assist and five SOG against the Carolina Hurricanes on Feb. 14.

Jake Gardiner , CAR (at NJD): The Hurricanes defenseman has had an underwhelming fantasy season but is heating up with five points (one goal, four assists) over the past two games on the road against Metropolitan Division opponents in the New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins. Gardiner also has seven SOG and three PPP in the span and is a glaring value pick when the Hurricanes visit the Devils.

Chris Driedger , FLA (at DAL): He has won consecutive games in the absence of injured Sergei Bobrovsky (lower body), stopping 59 of 61 shots faced in the span (.967 save percentage). Driedger, who’s 7-2-1 with a .938 SV% and one shutout this season, could be in net again when the Florida Panthers visit the Dallas Stars, who are 0-4-2 in their past six games.
