Week 16 of the 2019 NFL season will feature a marquee Monday Night Football game on December 23, 2019 when the Green Bay Packers take on the Minnesota Vikings at Bank of America Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Kickoff is slated for 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The Packers are led by head coach Matt LaFleur, quarterback Aaron Rodgers and running back Aaron Jones. Green comes in with an 11-3 record after a Week 15 win over the Bears.
The Vikings are led by head coach Mike Zimmer, quarterback Kirk Cousins, and wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Minnesota comes in with a 10-4 record after a Week 15 win over the Chargers.
Here’s how our experts see the game playing out.
Matt Lombardo: The Packers have won four of their last five. Aaron Rodgers leads the Packers to a division title. Packers 31, Vikings 20.
Zack Rosenblatt: This one will likely determine the NFC North. Always go Rodgers over Cousins in a big game. Packers 31, Vikings 28.
Darryl Slater: An awesome matchup between the teams battling for the NFC North crown — the 11-3 Packers and 10-4 Vikings. Both Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins have answered their critics this season. And in the final Monday night game of the season, this will be an absolute classic. Packers 45, Vikings 42.
Mike Kaye: This matchup may decide the NFC North. With both teams set to make the playoffs (most likely) neither team will be dead in the water with a loss. That said, the Vikings need to do all they can to take advantage of a home matchup. Vikings 24, Packers 23.
Matthew Stypulkoski: The Packers have a chance to wrap up the division. The Vikings have a shot to make Week 17 deeply meaningful. It comes down to who you trust more: Aaron Rodgers or Kirk Cousins. I know my answer. Packers 31, Vikings 21.
Joe Giglio: The line doesn’t lie. The Vikings are the best team in the NFC North right now, and will prove it in prime time. Vikings 31, Packers 20.
